Essay

South-eastern group of Funnelbeaker culture in the interfluves of Upper Dnister and Western Bug is characterized at the dissertation work. It is settled that tribes of Funnelbeaker culture arrive here from the territory of lower Vistula River basin in the period about 3700/3650 B. P. and left here till 2800 B. P. Such sites as Zymne, Lezhnytsia, Tadani, Mali Grybovychi, Vynnyky-Lysivka, Vynnyky-Zhupan, Rudnyky and Kotoryny are investigated in more detail. Analysis of material culture allow us to confirm, that classic stage of south-eastern group on researched periphery existed much longer then in its other regions - till 3100 B. P. Final stage characterized by weak influences of neighbor Trypillian and Baden cultures. Decline of Funnelbeaker culture was caused by large territory of its spreading, loss of homogeneity of its cultural heritage. Inheritance of cultural elements of Funnelbeaker culture by later population practically absent.
