Vozna Z. Methods of project activities of senior pupils while teaching Social Science subjects

The dissertation presents the research results of project activities of senior pupils while teaching Social Science subjects. The main characteristics of the content of Social Science subjects and conditions of optimizing the learning process with a method of educational projects were determined. Components and indicators of Social Science competence were defined; influence of project activities on the levels of its forming in senior pupils was studied. Personal, content-and-procedural factors and methodical conditions of the implementation of educational projects were found out. Methods of project activities of the pupils while teaching Social Studies subjects were experimentally checked; its efficiency in forming and developing of Social Science competence of senior pupils was estimated. Methodical recommendations as to organizing of project activities in studying process were formulated.
