Essay

The thesis research analyzes the conditions of the problem research of the media technology usage in educational theory and practice. Based on the analysis of conceptual approaches of local and foreign scientists and regulatory framework the definitions of basic notions "Media Technology" and "Media Literacy of the future teachers" were specified. The pedagogical conditions of the media technology usage in the training of future teachers were theoretically established. The model of media literacy formation among future teachers was developed and implemented in the training practice. There was offered the method of application of media technologies in the educational process of universities, which is realized by implementing educational and cognitive media texts in the process of learning of the disciplines of pedagogical orientation, classroom, extracurricular, independent and individual work of students. It was experimentally proved that the introduction of methodology contributes to realization of certain pedagogical conditions, raising the level of media literacy of the students.
