The banking system liquidity is studied. The concept of structuring of the banking system liquidity is analyzed and scientific approach that examines the banking system liquidity on three levels is proposed. The theoretical approach to defining the concept and role of international financial security and determination of the place of banking system liquidity it is formed. Scientific approach to the country ranking by the international financial security index is developed. The ways to improve the international financial security of Ukraine are suggested.
