Object - the process of practical training of students of engineering and pedagogical specialities; goal - to justify theoretically, to develop and to prove experimentally the model of professional and pedagogical skills formation for students of engineering and pedagogical specialities in the process of teaching practice; methods - analysis, process simulation, teaching experiment, survey, questionnaire, observation, statistical analysis of experimental data; novelty: for the first time the model of professional and pedagogical skills formation for future teachers-engineers of technical subjects during the teaching practice was justified theoretically, developed and proved experimentally; the content and structure of professionally important pedagogical skills of contemporary teachers-engineers were specified; professional training tools for future engineers as well as forms of learning were further developed; results: the model of professional and pedagogical skills formation in the process of teaching practice was developed and implemented in the process of training of engineering-pedagogical specialities students; complex of issues concerning the formation of professional and pedagogical skills; implemented in the educational process of the Ukrainian Engineering- Pedagogical Academy, Kharkiv professional vocational school of garment production and housekeeping of the Ukrainian Engineering-Pedagogical Academy; field - professional training.
