Matveicheva Y. Ukrainian state regional cultural policy of the independence period (on the example of Donetsk region).

The dissertation looks into the Ukrainian state regional cultural policy of the independence period (on the example of Donetsk region). The author analyzes basic theoretical principles of research, historical retrospective of cultural development of the region, investigates the practical organizational and legal framework implementing the main objectives and priorities of the state policy in the sphere of culture. Features of formation and realisation of a regional cultural policy in different historical stages of region formation are considered іn the dissertation. Investigated and determined dynamics of a regional cultural policy development of Donetsk region has allowed to reveal the key moments of evolution of cultural development in pre-Soviet period, to characterise processes of modernisation which have defined and have created special conditions for formation and realisation of a cultural policy in region.
