Essay

Based on the psychological-pedagogical works analysis, a term "value orientations" has been defined and a theoretical analysis of scientific approaches towards their study has been conducted. The role of single-parent family in the formation of value orientations has been analyzed. Clusters of factors that influence the formation of value orientations among upper secondary school students in a single-parent family life situation have been distinguished. A theoretical model that includes biological, individual-psychological, social, socio-psychological factors and describes an influence of life situation on the development of value orientations has been proposed.
