The thesis is dedicated for the design of heterojunctions based on titanium nitride thin films and investigation of the dominating current transport mechanisms, barrier parameters and photoelectrical properties in order to determine the possibilities of their application in electronic and photovoltaic devices. The complex analysis of electrical and photoelectrical properties of the heterojunctions mentioned above provides evidence of their possible application in semiconductor devices for electronics, optoelectronics and photovoltaics.
