Лазарев О. Formation of professional communicative competence of future specialists in agriculture on the basis of competence-based approach

The theoretical and practical aspects of the issue of formation of professional communicative competence of specialists in agriculture are the subject matter of the dissertation. A new mode to solving the urgent task of identifying and experimental verification of pedagogical conditions of formation of professional communicative competence of future specialists in agriculture on the basis of competence-based approach is suggested. These conditions include the systemic and continuous motivation of the specialists' thorough mastering of professional communication elements; purposeful selection and optimization of the content of teaching material to ensure the specialists' mastering of professional names and concepts through their logical structuring; implementation of the system of methods and forms of education, aimed at the specialists' gradual mastering of the structural components of professional communicative competence; preparedness of the teachers of agricultural universities to form the students' communicative competence. A model of formation of professional communicative competence of future specialists in agriculture whose efficiency is ensured by the defined pedagogical conditions is developed. A speciality course in "Formation of professional communicative competence of future specialists in agriculture" for future agronomists, as well as a block of workshops in "Fundamentals of formation of professional communicative competence of future specialists in agriculture on the basis of competence-based approach" for agriculture universities teachers is developed and implemented in the educational process of agricultural universities.
