Zhukovskiy Y. Future Physical Education Teacher Preparation to Organize Independent Health and Fitness Activity of Pupils

The dissertation deals with the issue of future physical education teacher professional preparation to organize independent health and fitness activity of pupils. The state-of-art of the studied issue in scientific literature and in practical work of a teacher of physical education is analysed. The basic notions are defined and their meaning is specified. The scientific approaches to professional training of a teacher are singled out and characterized. The ascertaining stage of the research proves inadequate level of readiness of students to the specified activity. The structural and logical model of future physical education teacher preparation to organize independent health and fitness activities of pupils is developed. The structure of readiness of future teachers of physical education to this type of activity is substantiated and the criteria, indices and levels of its forming are defined. Teaching and learning materials on professional training of future teachers in terms of the analysed issue are designed and effectiveness of their application is proved.
