The object is a process of the future mining engineer’s professional training; the aim is to ground theoretically and to check experimentally the pedagogical conditions of the future mining engineers’ ecological culture in the process of the professional training; the methods are analysis, generalization, observation, questionnaire, expert judgement, analysis of the activity products, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics; the novelty concludes with theoretical grounding of the pedagogical conditions which provide formedness of the future mining engineer’s ecological culture in the process of the professional training; the results: a special course in range of problems of the future mining engineer’s ecological culture and a complex of tasks in ecological orientation for practical training are worked out; field of knowledge is theory and methodology of vocational education
