Ohorilko O. Syntactic Peculiarities in Texts of Current Polish Language Press in Ukraine

Object: syntax of the word combination and sentences in texts of current Polish language press in Ukraine (from 1991 to 2013). Objective: analysis on the background of the general Polish language norm of distinctive features in the sphere of syntax in the written version of the Polish language represented in modern Polish-newspapers published in Ukraine. Methods: descriptive and analytical; historical; method of contrastive analysis; method of quantitative calculations. Scientific novelty: the first in the Ukrainian and Polish linguistics study of syntax implemented in the current Polish language press published in Ukraine, and consequently, the first comprehensive study of the distinctive features of the syntax of the written version of the modern Polish language in Ukraine. The practical value: possibility to use the guidelines, materials and results of research in the teaching of the Polish language syntax, special courses on sociolinguistics and dialectology, language of the borderlands. The results can be taken into account when writing books on Polish language syntax for Ukrainian students, books on Polish as a foreign language.
