Podunay V. The development of the knowledge economy in the system of global scientific and technological transformations

The object of the research is the development of the knowledge economy in the global scientific and technological transformations. The aim of the research is the development of theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of knowledge economy formation and the development of scientific and practical recommendations for the development of the knowledge economy using the levers of global scientific and technological transformations. Methods: general philosophical method of dialectical cognition, abstract method of logical analysis, methods of systematic structural and economic and statistical analysis, the method of economic and mathematical modeling. The theoretical results are: to deepen the theoretical and methodological foundations of scientific research of formation of the knowledge economy and identify the organizational and economic foundations of the knowledge economy, taking into account peculiarities of the current stage of the global scientific and technological transformations. Bottom line: consists in the fact that the theoretical and methodological positions, conclusions and recommendations of the scientific and practical thesis constitute the scientific basis for the formation and development of the economy in the context of the impact of modern scientific and technological transformations. Scientific novelty: for the first time: a hypothesis of a relationship between the degree of development of the knowledge economy and the level of competitiveness of the country; improved: theoretical and methodological bases of research directions and leverage the transformational shifts in the global economy through the development of the structural scheme of theoretical and methodological foundations of scientific and technological transformation; quantitative framework for the assessment of formation and development of the knowledge economy; were further developed: the conceptual and categorical apparatus studies the development of international economy at the present stage of development; organizational and economic basis for the development of the knowledge economy through the provision of advanced determinants of development of the knowledge economy in the global scientific and technological transformations.
