Dudnikov N. Criteria of geological-economic estimation of oil and gas objects at the initial stage of their study (on the example of the South-Eastern part of the Dniprovsko-Donetsk depression)

Significant amount of geological and geophysical information on the South-Eastern part of the DDD and adjacent to it territory are analyzed in the thesis. The results of drilling wells for oil and gas and the major gas stratigraphic complexes are considered. The features of the geological structure of the South-Eastern part of the DDD are researched based on the available geophysical and geological materials and drilling data. Fund of the objects, which were identified and prepared for drilling for oil and gas, was revised. Criteria of selection were set. Owing to these criteria the most promising subsoil plots within limits were selected, where the discovery of hydrocarbon fields are possible. Expediency of the further works with the purpose of familiarization of the hydrocarbon potential of Slovynska, Torska, Artemivska, Kostyantynivska and Nikolska areas was scientifically sound. Geological-economic assessment was conducted taking into account the following such criteria as: the resource base, NPV, IRR, cost, payback and etc. Owing to these criteria rating estimation of their investment attractiveness was conducted using the results of the researches of perspective objects. It is established that the development of all selected areas of subsoil are attractive for investment.
