Essay

The thesis is focused on the problems of pedagogical adaptation of future teachers of foreign languages to their professional activity. The process of adaptation, its structure, dynamics of realization and factors has been researched. The pedagogical conditions of adaptation are found out and theoretically grounded: including into organization of educational process inner determined factors (integrative adaptive characteristics of a future teacher of foreign languages) and the process of adaptation of a person to professional activity; deepening of professionally-oriented content of students’ preparation and the use of active and interactive methods of organization of educational process; widening of content and processing abilities of educational environment, favorable for development of professionally important personal qualities. The model of adaptation with its components has been developed; events, forms and methods providing adaptation of future teachers of foreign languages to professional activity in the course of their study in higher educational establishments.
