The thesis deals with the image of Alim Azamat oglu in the Crimean Tatar literature in the late XIX - early XX cc. The archival sources of judicial materials that are related to the activities of Alim Azamat oglu in the Crimea are used in the research. The thesis investigates firstly in the Crimean Tatar literary studies the image of the legendary hero of legends and literary works of the authors of the Crimean Tatar and Russian literature. The folklore sources about Alim Azamat oglu plot, the reasons of image of hero origin in literature have been introduced. Themes, plots, and motives of legends about Alim Azamat oglu risen in Crimea in XIX century have been examined. The particularities of image of hero in Crimean tatar literature have been discovered. The reflections of social environment of Crimean tatars which are present in works of have been analyzed. The reflections of artistic incarnation of Crimean tatar national reality, in which the most brightly original life of people is displayed have been shown.
