Essay

The scientific research is devoted to the problem of the psychological and pedagogical support of preschool children with cochlear implants. The paper analyzes the theoretical and methodological approaches to the rehabilitation of children with hearing disorders, presents the general characteristics and specificity revealed cochlear implant as a method of rehabilitation for deaf children; the state of psychological and pedagogical support of preschool children with cochlear implants in Ukraine and abroad; to organizational, didactic-methodical, special and rehabilitation features of such support. Criteria and tools to investigate conditions of auditory perception, speech, and mental processes at children with cochlear implants are represented. In view of the results obtained theoretically grounded research, developed and experimentally tested system of psychological and pedagogical support of preschool children with cochlear implants containing certain content, stages and methodological conditions for its implementation.
