Essay

The dissertation research is devoted to the actual psychological and pedagogical problems of laying foundations of the graphic activity in preschool children with Down syndrome. Defined components, parameters and evaluation criteria of graphic activity formation state atmentally retarded preschool children and preschool children with Down syndrome, made it possible to identify the characteristics of their formation at children of two categories. Due to this, there were developed pedagogical conditions, methodology of correction and developing training aimed at successful laying the foundations of the graphic activity in preschool children with Down syndrome through the widespread usege of different types of productive activities (drawing, modeling, applications), innovative visual techniques, other forms of art (music, artistic expression), combined classes, objectively - practical, game activities and different didactic sessions. Laying the foundations of the graphic activity in preschool children with Down syndrome helps to activate their compensatory capacity, reduces the negative impact of secondary abnormalities on their development and prepares them for successful learning at school.
