Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the problem of individually-psychological determinants of literary text perception. The paper contains the theoretical substantiation, methodical principles and the results of the empirical research of the problem in question. The nature and characteristics of literary text perception are described in the dissertation. The research allowed to identify the components of literary text perception, namely the reader orientation (subjective, actional and emotional) and the type of person's interaction with the text (analytical, formal, intuitive and profound). The concept of "individual psychological peculiarities of the literary text perception" is reveled. These peculiarities include personal features and the reader's orientation factors (complexity of the text, plot reflection, a positive assessment of biographies, feelings, thoughts and nature description). The idea of a three-component structure of literary text perception, including cognitive, affective and connotative components is confirmed and expanded. It is proved that, considering individual psychological characteristics, each reader of literary texts can be assigned to one of seven types: active, inert, passive, thinking, doing, naturalistic (high level), naturalistic (low level). Knowing to which readers-type belongs a person, the psychologist can assume, how effectively hi will perceive different texts. The program "Managing the Literary Texts Perception" is developed and implemented.
