Hasanov M. Islamic banking principles implementation as a direction of traditional banking systems low-risk operation

Object of study: the process of Islamic banking functioning in the global financial system. Aim: deepening the theoretical and methodological grounds of Islamic banking research and development of scientific and practical recommendations towards the implementation of its principles in the traditional banking systems. Methods: methods of economic analysis and synthesis; a comparative analysis; statistical methods; structural and functional method; economic and mathematical methods; systemic analysis. Scientific novelty: toolkit of comparative assessment of financial stability of different types of banking systems is offered; the basic principles of Islamic banking system formation are grounded and Islamic banking models are identified; classification of countries in terms of implementing the principles of Islamic banking in national banking systems is offered; the conceptual model of Islamic banking regulation is developed; groups of stimulating and deterrent factors of Islamic banking integration are found out; the approaches to the definition of Islamic banking are improved. The research results are implemented in practical activities of the Department of Economy and International Relations of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, JSC "International Investment Bank", in the educational process of the Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Kharkiv Institute of Management. Sphere of usage: interdisciplinary.
