Essay

The research focuses on the phenomenon of political leader discourse, the study of the political and communication process evolution in international relations. It touches upon the generalization and systematization of the modern political and communication technologies providing the political leader discourse in international relations during the information age. It is proved that the discourse of political leader was an important part of the foreign policy in modern international relations. The political leader plays a role of a carrier of discourse of the state that he represents internationally and of a transductor of this discourse to the international community. The dependence of the changes in political system and of the development of communication technologies, in particular of discourse, is demonstrated. The evolution of discourse in international relations is shown (for example, the discourse of Barack Obama, Dilma Rusef, Tony Blair, Hugo Chavez, Vladimir Putin and Silvio Berlusconi). According to the proposed model of the political discourse study basic characterological features, frequency of its usage, relevance, international and national components, features of the formation and infiltration of discourse of each elected politicians are observed and systematized.
