Object - motor memory of the senior preschool children and younger school students; purpose - definition of psychological factors of development of motor memory of the senior preschool children and younger school students; methods - theoretical (analysis, generalization, comparison, systematization of psychological data on a research problem); empirical (supervision, conversation, testing, psychology-pedagogical experiment); mathematic-statistical methods of data processing; novelty - age dynamics of volume, accuracy and efficiency of motor short-term memory of children in an interval from the advanced preschool age to the termination of younger school age is for the first time opened; sexual specifics of this dynamics are revealed; the picture of age decrease in errors of reproduction of the movements on temporary, spatial and power parameters which are recently recorded in memory is received; fact of a hetero-chronicle of progress of short-term motor memory on muscular effort at representatives of a different floor is established; the importance of volume, accuracy and efficiency of motor short-term memory of children for effective storing and reproduction of the movement on temporary, spatial and power parameters is proved; it is revealed that interrelations of parameters of motor memory with indicators of reproduction of the movement have age and sexual specifics; explanatory categories which belong to the concept of memory by means of which psychological mechanisms of motor training and assimilation of movement and labor skills are revealed are specified; features of structuring an image of the movement which is remembered at the senior preschool children and younger school students under the influence of such factors as the spatial analysis and synthesis (constructive praxis), the level of concentration of attention, ability to training, level of randomness of mental activity of the child are specified; age features of structure of motor memory and factors of its efficiency at children of the advanced preschool age, first graders and four-graders are specified; methodological installation on overcoming of the simplified interpretations of motor memory as simple "accumulation of traces of motive acts" and ways of psychology and pedagogical influence on motor memory of the senior preschool children are gained further development by creation of the developing program directed on activization of productive functions of memory of children in the course of the decision by them motive and constructive and technical tasks; result - the development program of motor memory of children; the developing program can be used in teaching-educational process of preschool institutions and schools; area - psychology.
