Object - senses of honor and dignity in the moral self-consciousness of a person in the students age; objective - to determine the psychological content and development conditions of the students' honor and dignity senses; methods - theoretical analysis, systematization and generalization of the research problem psychological data, psycho-pedagogical experiment in the forms of a summative, formative and control research, mathematical statistics methods; novelty - the 1st definition of two-factor structure of the students' moral senses which reveals the psychological nature of a person with senses of honor and dignity; the 1st determination of the typological features of the students experiencing the senses of honor and dignity by emphasizing of three personality moral profiles: "Orientation toward sense of dignity", "Orientation toward sense of honor", "Negation of senses of honor and dignity"; expansion of the notions of honor and dignity senses content basis of a student comprising of a set of such moral characteristics as responsibility, honesty, altruism, politeness, humanity; expansion of the notions of a psychological characteristic of senses of honor and dignity as principal determinants of a student's personality moral self-consciousness development; further development of means of the psycho-pedagogical follow-up of the students' personality moral self-consciousness development providing personal determinants actualization of senses of honor and dignity; results - the determined and tested blocks of diagnostic methods for study of peculiarities of a student's personality senses of honor and dignity may be used in the course of the psychologists' professional training and professional development, the created program of senses of honor and dignity development social-psychological training may be applied by psychologists of the higher educational establishments in the practical activity; sphere - psychology.
