Essay

The medical and organizational technology and organizational model of multi-level medical social monitoring (MSM) of visual status and risk factors of visual impairment were developed. The model ensures a systematic and comprehensive solution to problems in ophthalmological care, activates the roles of family and general practitioners; distributes functions between levels of the MSM model; introduces a methodology for identifying risk factors and projecting eye pathology in schoolchildren; and envisages a mandatory review of the MSM model's results at the regional level.
