Essay

Object: evaluation of social program. Purpose: conceptualization into evaluation of social program as a sociological theory. Research methods: content-analysis, questionnaires, traditional analysis of documents. Theoretical and practical results: suggested a definition of "evaluation of social programs", defined characteristics and made a comprehensive socio-historical analysis into evaluation of social program as support of programs, developed conceptual and categorical apparatus into sociology of evaluation of social programs; theoretical and methodological developments on the topic used for formation of specialization "evaluation of scientific and educational programs" at the Institute of Sociology, Psychology and Social Communications, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, totaling 360 hours. Novelty: conceptualization into evaluation of social program as a sociological theory. Degree of introduction: research results are used in teaching courses such as "Evaluation of Education Quality", "Technologies and Methods of Evaluation Practice", "Evaluation of General Educational Institution", "Evaluation of Vocational School", "Evaluation of Higher Education Institution", "Evaluation of Scientific, Educational and Social Programs" for students of Institute of Sociology, Psychology and Social Communications, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University; proposed concepts of social program evaluation methodology contributed further intensive development of the "Center for Evaluation of Scientific, Educational and Social Programs", which was found in 2008 with the aim of training, assessment and support of scientific, educational and social programs, research projects, formation evaluational culture in Ukraine.
