Matveieva G. The professional preparation of future excursion guidance experts at higher educational establishments of tourism industry

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of the future excursion guidance experts' professional preparation at higher educational establishments of tourism industry. Based on the results of the research conducted, the periods of establishment and development of excursion guidance experts' professional preparation have been defined and characterized. The functional directions in the activity of excursion guidance experts' have been also theoretically grounded; the basic competences have been identified; the structural components (motivational, cognitive, emotive and activity-related), criteria, indices and standards of the professional preparation for excursion guidance experts have been determined. The model of the future excursion guidance experts' professional preparation at higher educational establishments of tourism industry has been first developed, theoretically based and experimentally verified. The essence of concept "professional preparation of future excursion guidance expert" has been clarified.
