The dissertation is devoted to research of a problem of development of professional readiness of the future border guard officers for cooperation within modern border guard system. In the research the role and place of border guard cooperation within a system of BG Service as well as the essence and structure of border cooperation on the border are specified and a state of development of professional readiness of future border guard officers for such activity, and criteria and levels of estimation of professional readiness of future border guard officers for border cooperation on the border are defined. Organizational and pedagogical conditions of development of professional readiness of the future border guard officers for border cooperation on the border are defined and proved, and a model of the process is developed upon their basis. Methodical recommendations on organisation of preparation of the future border guard officers for border cooperation on the border are developed based on the results of the experiment.
