The thesis deals with the problem of training future agricultural economists profile in higher education in Great Britain. The features of its structure, content, forms, methods, training and monitoring performance. Specified the structure and content of the curriculum of Bachelor and Master degree to train agricultural economists profile in UK universities. Done retrospective analysis of higher economic education in the UK with the definition of the stages of its development. We found the current trends of training economists of agricultural profile in British universities. Concretized the criteria for admission to higher education institutions in UK for future agricultural economists profile. Author determined forms and methods of support of the non-governmental organisations of agricultural economists training in UK. A comparative analysis of training agricultural economists profile in the universities of Great Britain and Ukraine was done. The appropriateness of the experience of UK universities in the training of economists agricultural profile in Ukraine, developed a number of recommendations. An optimization theoretical and practical training of future economists, harmonization and interdisciplinary and monodystsyplinary components of their training based on a progressive experience of the United Kingdom.
