The dissertation presents the features of professionally applied physical fitness of pedagogical faculty students of different forms of education, that are determined by insufficient level of theoretical and methodological knowledge on part-time education and physical state that of the most students are at the level of junior classes; the limiting factors that adversely affect the state of professionally applied physical training of students of correspondence courses are identified, including the lack of obligatory physical education classes, low levels of physical activity, the lack of knowledge about appropriate forms of professionally applied physical training of primary school teachers, and low motivational factors that affect the activity of self-employment and low motivation for self-improvement. The practical significance of the results is to develop organizational and methodological conditions for the formation of pedagogical students motivation to professionally applied physical training at the department of part-time education. Our recommendations might be used at teacher training of pedagogical institutions at part-time education departments.
