Zinyak L. International Legal Foundations of Military Cooperation of Ukraine.

The thesis is dedicated to the international legal founations of the military cooperation of Ukraine. Its notion, forms and principles are determined. The genesis of its legal regulation and particularities of modern international legal cooperation of Ukraine, focused on the key role of the preventive diplomacy and means of military and political confidence building measures, are ascertained. The peculiarities of implementation of international legal norms into the legislation of Ukraine due to its international obligations in military sphere and participation in international military institutions are found out. It is proved, that the deepening of cooperation with the EU under the Association Agreement 2014 shall not lead to limitation of the state sovereignty in military sphere. The author argues to update the Ukrainian legislation in military sphere. Certain theoretical and practical recommendations are provided.
