Vasyukova N. The Implicit Negation in Ukrainian Phraseology (The Axiological and Cognitive Aspects)

The thesis is devoted to the analysis of the implicit negation in Ukrainian phraseology. The modern scientific approaches towards the categories of implicitness and negation as categorial and matrix concept are described. The verbal-cogitative essence of phraseological meaning which is determined by the peculiarities of human cognitive activities and social norms of communication is stated. Basing on the scheme of ideographic classification of phraseological units with the semantics of negative meaning the author have shown the role and peculiarities of the negative estimation as one of the characteristics of negation. The additional sources of phraseological units expressivity were suggested. Also the author analyzed their capability in terms of forming the implicit negation.
