Essay

The thesis is a comprehensive study of the Iranian nuclear choice and the reasons of Iranian nuclear policy. The dissertation deals with the international relations theories which are summarized in the framework of a systematic analysis approach. The dissertation considers the following areas of theoretical thought as classical realism, neorealism, neoclassical realism neoliberal institutionalism technocentrism, theory of bureaucratic politics, normativism, constructivism, psychological constructivism of J. Haymans, concept of ruling coalitions of E. Solinhen. The paper also examined factors influencing the Iranian nuclear choice which are not directly related to one of the theories. These factors primarily include strategic culture.
