Radiuk M. Rational parameters justification of mine compressors with waste heat recovery systems

The dissertation is devoted to the choosing the parameters of compressor units with waste heat recovery systems. The mathematical model of mine compressors with waste heat recovery sys-tems has been developed. It allows investigating the gas-dynamic and heat processes in "turbo-compressor-heat pump" and "turbo-compressor-power generation unit" sys-tems. As a result of the modeling, patterns of changes of the variation of total electri-cal power that consumed by the turbo-compressor and heat pump with cooling water temperature and electrical power consumed by power generation unit with com-pressed air intercooling temperature in the recovery sections of mine compressors have been obtained. The methods of parameters calculation for mine compressors with heat pump and cogeneration waste heat recovery systems have been developed.
