Dissertation is devoted to the problems of studying philosophy of cultural space of the modern university, trends of its change in the period of globalization and information revolution and establishment of market-democratic relations. Features of philosophy of cultural field of the university during the period of totalitarianism were analyzed. The essence of philosophy of organization of cultural field of universities in the context of globalization and information revolution, market and democratic reforms, was analyzed. Leading values of cultural space of a modern university in a democratic society were studied.
