Thesis deals with the problem of improving the technique of motor actions for the athletes specializing in synchronized swimming, in the annual cycle during the period of pre-basic training. In the paper were defined the characteristics of competitive activity and biomechanical characteristics of the "standard" sculling movement technique in athletes of different qualifications, specializing in synchronized swimming.
