Essay

The dissertation is one of the first complex ethnological investigations of the modern ethnic and identificational processes of the inhabitants of South Slobozhanshyna, the result of the dispatch researches of the author during 2011-2012 years in the settlements of Ukraine, the Russian Federation. According to the materials of the investigation the peculiarities of modern identity processes of the Ukrainian inhabitants of the region are depicted; the role of language, ethnoculture and religion in such processes is studied; the identificational priorities among the representatives of Southern Slobozhanshyna after the events of Evromaidan are analyzed.
