Matselyukh K. Petro Abramovich as a scientist, educator, public figure and his contribution to the development of library and bibliographic case in Volyn (10-20-ies XX century)

This thesis focuses on the scientific, social and educational work of a philologist, educator, librarian, bibliographer, historian and ethnographer Petro Abramovich. Based on the analysis of historiography and sources, factors that had a great influence on the outlook of the scientist and played an essential role in the forming of public position and skills are clarified. Peculiar attention is paid to the Petro Abramovich main spheres of scientific work in bibliographic and ethnographic research. Scientist's organizational work in creating Volyn Pedagogical Institute and his scientific bookstack and scientific library in Volyn Scientific museum is analyzed. The manuscript heritage of the scientist is investigated .
