Essay

World energy market was analyzed by indicators of production, consumption, exports and imports of major energy resources. Ukraine has shown the importance and role of shale gas as a resource capable of reducing monopoly dependence on a single supplier and together with the course on energy efficiency to bring the country out of the economic crisis. Also there was proposed a scenario up to 2035 year. The regulatory framework was analyzed together with making changes to existing legal acts and with the creation of new Law of Ukraine «Act on shale gas».
