The object of study - the hippodrome complexes as integrated structures constructions for equestrian sport. Subject of research - principles and techniques of architectural design hippodrome complexes. Objective: to develop the basic principles and practical recommendations for architectural design hippodrome complexes. Methods: literature review; comparative analysis of national and international experience; opinion poll; generalization of the data; full-scale survey racecourses Ukraine; integrating factors affecting the formation and construction of racetracks; functional analysis of the object; mathematical calculation architectural profile of the stands; graphical modeling; experimental design.Scientific novelty of the results is that the first time the authorized classification racetracks, the main types and their first identified as an object of research and design as the racing complex integrated structure facilities for equestrian sport; improved methods of forming racetrack complexes (graphic modeling of functional and technological structure, mathematical calculation architectural profile stands by the criterion of visual perception Equestrian events); The main principles of architectural planning of the racing complex (continuity, functional differentiation, integration of key functions adaptability); received the further development of practical recommendations for designing racing complex (methodology design, construction nomenclature). Results of the study are embedded in design, as well as in the educational process training of architects.
