Essay

The research goal is to develop scientific principles and guidelines of housing and recreational complexes in the coastal settlements formation. The object of research is a housing and recreational complexes. The subject is scientific and methodological principles of housing and recreational complexes in the coastal settlements formation. Methodology: applied general and special methods: statistical analysis, sociological survey, landscape analysis, optimization industry economy balance on resource potential settlement etc. The new and improved methods of specific problems solving are offered: the methods for determining the number of unorganized vacationers are complemented by step of expert assessment of unorganized recreation places selection for the first time. The methods of factors rating that affect the optimal placement of housing and recreational complexes. It is made up both by experts and social opinions of these factors by the residents taking into account the factor of distance from the coast area. The scientific novelty of the results is that a new urban object - "housing and recreation complex" with special features for informal recreation - is justification for the first time; a new system of "quantitative parameters" of housing and recreational complexes that can be used to develop project-planning documentation of coastal settlements and their structural elements (housing and recreational complexes) is proposed; an urban typology of coastal housing and recreational complexes is developed; the concept of this complexes formation is formulated according to adapted and new principles; the planning models and planning structures are built to implement the principles into town planning practice; zoning and territory balance is defined; methods of architectural and spatial composition development of housing and recreational complex are generalized. The research results can be used in the development of project documentation and planning of coastal areas; DBN 360-92 ** "Urban Planning. Planning and development of urban and rural settlements" to adjust; an educational programs and manuals on architectural design for higher education to develop. The fundamentals of research in 6 scientific and research work and in the curriculum of the course "Architectural design" in KNUCA are introduced.
