Kovalenko A. Medical and social justification of informational and educational provision model of circulatory diseases prevention.

In this dissertation was analyzed health of working age population, due to the diseases of the circulatory system, still stay the most significant medical and social problem. The prevalence of major risk factors guided the population of working age suffering from cardiovascular diseases was determined. In the case of hypertension, as the most common nosology, inefficiency of preventive measures is depicted. A leading medical and organizational disadvantage is the insufficient level of informing people of working age about risk factors of cardiovascular diseases, leading to a false picture about the impact of lifestyle on health. We proposed a functional-structural model of information and education for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases at intersectoral level, strategic direction of which lies in bringing together public and religious organizations and medical institutions. Implementation of certain elements of the proposed model in the activities of medical institutions has proved its medical, social and economic effectiveness.
