Kovtsur E. Reservation of transporting capacities of freight transport fleet in the logistics supply chain of consumer goods

The object is the process of delivery of consumer goods to the retail network in the cities. The aim is to minimize reduced logistics costs of the goods delivery supply chain that consist of shipping cost and loses, associated with incomplete delivery to the retail network due to reservation of transporting capacities of freight transport fleet. Methods used are regression analysis, mathematical modeling, methods of probability theory and mathematical statistics, methods of the theory of optimal planning of the experiment, and cluster analysis. Novelty of the research is that a methodical approach to selection of rational method of reservation of freight transport fleet transporting capacities was proposed for the first time. The method takes into account the influence of conditions of the delivery on reduced logistics costs. Implementation of technological and organizational solutions, such as reservation of transporting capacities of freight transport fleet, to eliminate negative impact of demand fluctuations is presented in manuscript, based on analysis of practical solutions and theoretical studies. The models of impact of delivery conditions and technological parameters of transporting capacities of freight transport reservation methods onto reduced logistic costs were developed. The results of the research were applied at LLC "Shostkinskiy khlebokombinat" to develop strategic operation plan. The field is automobile cargo delivery.
