The problem of professional training of future engineers in the field of nanoelectronics at the universities of Great Britain has been studied in the dissertation. Results of bibliographic analysis of problem on professional training of future engineers in the field of nanoelectronics in studies of native and foreign reseachers have been presented. Peculiarities of formation and development of nanoscience and nanotechnology, micro- and nanoelectronic components and systems that are the basis for innovations and competitiveness in major economic sectors and play a significant role in the professional training and development of engineers in the field of nanoelectronics have been justified.
