Essay

The dissertation is devoted to a research of progress of traditional and electronic resources with spotlight on the personal contributions of the Ukrainian bibliographers, revealing traditions, innovations and prospects of a personal electronic resources in the biobibliography. Systems of the description, innovative influences, and variations of priorities in directions of progress in formation of the most advanced biobibliographic electronic resources are also considered in the dissertation. During the years of independence a well-developed branch of scientific research of the Ukrainian national biobibliography, biobibliographic studies, and biographistics was created, where the main spotlight was given to the Ukrainian bibliographers. That branch turned into an extensive resource for the creation of the integrated electronic reference. Dissertation suggests theoretical, scientifically-methodical and scientifically-organizational principles of the scientific biographic and bibliographic description and creation of the integrated information system "People of The Ukrainian Bibliography" on the basis of the broad spectrum of sources in the form of texts, media, string art, and electronic bibliography.
