Object - liver under experimental skeletal injuries of varying severity against the backdrop of excess intake of salts of copper and zinc; purpose - clarify pathogenetic features of liver injury with mechanical injuries of varying severity in conditions of excess intake of copper and zinc ions and its antidote therapy; methods - experimental, functional, biochemical, spectrophotometric, morphological and morphometric, mathematical and statistical; results - on the background of excessiv intake of copper and zinc ions, the skeletal trauma of different severity is accompanied by significantly higher increase of products of lipid peroxidation in liver, less decrease of indexes of antioxidant protection, increased cytolytic syndrome, increased level of endogenous intoxication, significant deterioration of biliary excretion and absorption, as well as absorbing-excretory liver function; the signs of higher protein and fatty dystrophy, abnormalities of beam organization, as well as dystrophic and necrotic changes have been recognized at the microscopic level, revealed changes increase to 3-7 days and are more severe under the background of mild and severe trauma; unitiol administration to animals with an excessive intake of copper and zinc ions within 14 days after severe skeletal trauma is accompanied with violations of investigated traumatic disease markers and morphometric indexes of liver, which do not reach the level, common for animals without additional toxic effects.
