Strebkova I. The Life of Art in the Vyzhnytcya area in the second half of the XX - beginning of XXI century.

On the basis of museum and archive descriptions analysis of historical, folklore and ethnographic, area studies, history of art literature, photo, video fixation was done cultural research and art legacy of Vyzhnytcа artistic life in the second half of the XX - beginning of XXI century. The region's role and place in the general national culture was reviewed. The influence of other countries on the historical and cultural development of the region was characterized.The stages of artistic educational institutions' development in Vyzhnytcya were traced. The dissertation highlighted work and creative contributions of outstanding artists and educators of the region. Author determines the prerequisites for the opening of woodcarving school and it place to further the preservation and development of folk art.A significant number of artist's names are introduced into scientific circulation. Various aspects of art in the territory of the district were revealed,allowing consider these aspects more fully, comprehensively and systemically.
