Levko V. Concert as a Factor of the Cultural Artistic Life of Ukraine of the 20th - Beginning of the 21st Сentury

The thesis studies and defines concert as a factor of cultural and artistic life of Ukraine of the XX - beginning of the XXI century. This work provides theoretical and methodological principles of study of a concert as a stage form of art functioning, determines the place of music companies, state and public organizations in concert life of Ukraine in the XX - beginning the XXI century, outlines the role of arts education institutions in Ukrainian concert life, highlights new trends in the concert organization in late XX-XXI century. It is noted that concert as a public form of music presentation is an important component of musical life in Europe in general and Ukraine in particular. A concert is seen as a whole system with internal and external communications, operation of which is provided by the interaction of external and internal components. The paper proves the specified connection of concert life with dynamics of Ukrainian musical and cultural process of XX century.
