Leshchenko K. Ecologization of the Economic Development of the European Union

The thesis has been focused on studying and identifying the substance and role of ecologization of the global economic space, proving the key parametric characteristics of the ecological paradigm of economic development of the leading countries as well as drawing conclusions on ecological efficiency of economic policy. It has explained the specifics of the polystructural model of implementation of ecological policy of the European Union; has analyzed nature and instruments of ecological management in EU sectoral policies as well as has defined the ecological components of EU horizontal policies. It has outlined the mechanisms of implementation of the ecological and economic policies of the post-socialist countries of Europe, has revealed the specifics of economic management of the environment in Ukraine as well as has provided the comparative analysis of the institutional model of management of environmental protection in Ukraine and the EU. The options for changes in the management structure in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine have been proposed.
