Povch Z. Medico-social determinants of development of glaucoma and justification of the optimized model of its primary prevention in practice of the family doctor

The thesis is devoted to justification, development and deployment of the optimized focused on determinants model of primary prevention of glaucoma in practical activities of the family doctor. Complex medico-social research established imperfection of functioning of primary prevention of glaucoma concerning detection of risk factors of its emergence and leveling of their influence, limited opportunities of satisfaction of needs of the population for available, safe and timely, economically effective preventive ophthalmologic help. Approaches to optimization of model of primary prevention of glaucoma in which it is provided the personified approach to definition of individual risk of development of glaucoma that allows to form at primary level groups of prevention with the differentiated approach to frequency rate and volume of carrying out preventive ophthalmologic inspections are proved.
