Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the development of methods for the synthesis of fluorinated NH-iminophosphonates and elucidation of their synthetic potentialities. It was found that highly electrophilic acetonitriles in the presence of base react with hydrophosphoryl compounds to form novel type of imines - NH-iminophosphonates. The electron-deficient nature of the imines makes them promising substrates for the preparation of various functionalized acyclic and heterocyclic derivatives with an aminophosphonic fragment. Based on enantioselective proline-catalyzed reaction between NH-iminotrifluoroethylphosphonate and acetone, efficient synthetic approach to previously unknown chiral aminoketophosphonates was developed.
